Career Assist Leaders

These guys must have been excellent at sharing their toys in preschool -- they went on to become the most prolific distributors in Division I history. The ACC has a mortal lock on this list, with four of the top five spots.

1. Bobby Hurley - 1,076

Duke: 1989-93
Hurley was the quarterback for Mike Krzyzewski's back-to-back champions in 1991 and 1992, with a large number of his assists going to capable finishers like Grant Hill and Christian Laettner. His NBA career was side-tracked when he was involved in a serious car accident during his rookie season with the Sacramento Kings.

2. Chris Corchiani - 1,038

North Carolina State: 1988-91

3. Ed Cota - 1,030

North Carolina: 1996-2000

4. Keith Jennings - 983

East Tennessee State: 1987-91

5. Steve Blake - 972

Maryland: 1999-2003

Career Blocks Leaders

A lot of impressive names on the all-time list for blocked shots. Tim Duncan. Emeka Okafor. Alonzo Mourning. But the most prolific shot-blocker in NCAA Division I history is... who?

1. Wojciech Mydra - 535

Louisiana Monroe: 1998-2002
Mydra, from tiny Louisiana-Monroe, tops a list of guys who went on to long and productive NBA careers. He had aspirations of being the first Polish player to reach the NBA, but has spent his entire professional career to date in the European league.

2. Adonal Foyle - 492

Colgate: 1994-97
We're willing to give Foyle extra credit -- he's second on the list, but when he left school he was first overall, and he reached that point in just three seasons. He's had an eleven-year NBA career to date, serving last season as primary backup to Dwight Howard with the Orlando Magic.

3. Tim Duncan - 481

Wake Forest: 1993-97
Timmy is also tops on the career rebounding list.

4. Alonzo Mourning - 453

Georgetown: 1988-92

5. Ken Johnson - 444

Ohio State: 1997-2001

LSU: 1967-70
The legendary "Pistol Pete" also tops the list of best-ever career scoring averages, with a ridiculous 44.2 points per game -- nearly ten points better than the runner-up. Even more remarkable... Maravich holds this record despite the fact that he only played three years at LSU.

2. Freeman Williams - 3,249

Portland State: 1974-78

3. Lionel Simmons - 3,217

LaSalle: 1986-90

4. Alphonso Ford - 3,165

Mississippi Valley State, 1989-93

5. Harry Kelly - 3,066

Texas Southern, 1979-83
