Denver general manager got four Knick starters - Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Timofey Mozgov - as well as draft picks and cash in the deal that sent Carmelo Anthony to New York. That's far more than anyone reasonably expected in return for a soon-to-be free agent with no intention of re-signing with the Nuggets.
But less than six months later, that massive haul looks a lot less impressive. Chandler is headed to China and may not be able to appear in an NBA game this season. Felton was traded to Portland for 35-year-old Andre Miller. And while Gallinari looked like a star during his time in Denver, Mozgov was a little-used backup for George Karl's squad.
Perhaps it's time to re-evaluate the Carmelo Anthony trade.
